Space Marine 2 devs reveal some secrets. Their new game won’t go easy on us

The developers behind Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 are currently engaged in a different, as-yet unrevealed project that seems to be quite chilling or fearsome.

The Saber Interactive crew has no reason to grumble about idle hands. They’re currently engrossed in the development of the second installment for the Space Marine series, which garnered massive success and swiftly joined the ranks of top games within the Warhammer 40,000 universe. They’ve also started work on the third part, as well as a revamp of the popular KotOR (though there’s been some time since we heard any news about it), Toxic Commando, Turok: Origins, an Avatar-licensed game, and a Jurassic Park survival title.

Looks like I’ve got another exciting addition to my gaming list! Saber Interactive just dropped a chilling teaser. The intriguing clip they posted on X doesn’t spill all the beans, but it definitely sets the eerie tone for this upcoming game.

Luckily, the developer doesn’t keep players waiting long for crucial details. It appears that the studio is planning to unveil a new project on July 22nd, which remains a mystery so far. In addition, the developers have shared one link, but it only reveals the same date and time: 6:00 PM Pacific Time.

Beyond the eerie ambiance, the teaser doesn’t provide much information that can be clearly deciphered. Some gamers are speculating whether this is a new, unannounced project or one of the previously disclosed titles. The oddity lies in the old CRT television encircled by candles, as it doesn’t align with any of the known projects. The technology alone hints at a 20th-century setting, which could be consistent with a Jurassic Park-themed game. However, everything else seems to point towards supernatural or paranormal terror rather than prehistoric horror.
