It should be noted that this theory originates from the revelation made in December 2023 about the Wednesday team considering Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester for a future series. Since then, not much information has emerged regarding the project, but there’s also been no contradictory news to suggest otherwise.

It seems like a great idea to expand Fester’s horizons (playing on words) by having him embark on an exciting adventure such as solving a mystery, uncovering hidden treasure, or discovering a lost artifact from the Addams family lineage. This could open up opportunities for various relatives to join in, creating a delightful mix of characters throughout the story.

The setting would resemble the grand, eccentric gathering depicted in the 1991 live-action film “The Addams Family,” but with a greater focus on the ancestors as key characters. It’s intriguing to imagine the diverse array of quirky characters and outcasts that could be brought into the storyline.
