Soulframe Closed Alpha Reveals Duelo Pact and New Wolf Mount

At PAX East 2026, Digital Extremes announced that April will see the addition of a Duelo Pact and Wolf Mount to the closed alpha of their game, Soulframe. They also showcased the newest Fable story, called The Wreck Of Mestra Carmo.

Players can now create the Duelo Pact and play as Carmo, a new Ancestor with the skills of a quick-witted sailor. He uses the rapier Navalha, a powerful new one-handed sword, and players can craft the Mestra armor set using gathered materials. Updates also include the Fallen Ode Skytower to explore, a new way to progress with the character Orlick, and a new Wolf Mount to ride.

Washed ashore on the northern isle of Midrath, a new adventure begins.

I’m really excited about Soulframe, but it sounds like the 2025 release date might be a bit optimistic. The community manager, Sarah Asselin, said it’s more of a goal they’re hoping for, so we might be waiting until 2026 or even later. As for what systems it’ll be on, Digital Extremes hasn’t officially said yet, but if it’s anything like Warframe, I’m expecting to be able to play it on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC!
