As a cinephile, I’m thrilled to share that Sony Pictures Television has elevated me, Mike Wald, and my partner, Jason Spivak, into the roles of joint presidents for Distribution and Networks! It’s an incredible honor to be entrusted with such responsibility in the world of television. Let’s see what exciting opportunities this new chapter brings!

Collaboratively, Wald and Spivak are set to assume the responsibilities that were previously handled by Keith Le Goy, following his promotion to the position of Sony Pictures Television chairman in January. In these newly assigned roles, they will continue to keep Le Goy informed.

Wald and Spivak are set to jointly manage the studio’s merged television and home entertainment distribution ventures. Their responsibilities encompass supervising the distribution of movies after their theatrical release, handling the global distribution of TV shows, managing multi-channel marketing strategies, and overseeing international cable networks in Latin America and Europe.
