As someone who has spent years immersed in the dynamic world of television and media, I am thrilled to see Tara Bohn and Lindsay Poulton taking the reins of this exciting collaboration between Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) and Guardian Media Group.
Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) and Guardian Media Group have chosen Tara Bohn and Lindsay Poulton to oversee their collaborative creative endeavors.
Last year, we initially unveiled a collaborative business partnership. This venture grants SPE the initial preference to adapt The Guardian’s journalism for on-screen presentations, encompassing both scripted and unscripted formats.
In these changes, Bohn, previously part of Amazon Studios’ series team, assumes the position as head of global content development. On the other hand, Poulton has joined The Guardian, occupying the first-ever role as Editorial Director for film and TV productions. Both positions will be situated at The Guardian’s headquarters in London.
At Amazon Studios, Bohn handled various aspects of both developing and ongoing series like “Reacher” and “Carnival Row”. Additionally, they’ve collaborated on productions such as “The Good Doctor” and the anthology series “The Scandal” with Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE).
Poulton will carry on serving as the head of documentaries for The Guardian’s documentary section, while taking on additional duties.
