As a gamer with years of experience under my belt, I find myself deeply disappointed in Marques Brownlee, also known as MKBHD, after his reckless driving incident. Having lost loved ones due to car accidents in my life, I hold a special regard for road safety and responsibility.
In simpler terms, the content creator known as Mutahar, also recognized as SomeOrdinaryGamers, critiqued another YouTube personality, Marques Brownlee, following his posting (and subsequent removal) of a video where he was seen exceeding the speed limit by 61 miles.
On November 12, 2024, MKBHD, also recognized as Brownlee, faced criticism when viewers spotted a brief, five-second segment in a promotional video for a camera, which was part of a sponsorship deal.
In a subsequent turn of events, the YouTube personality encountered further criticism after deleting the controversial segment from his video. He defended this action by stating in a comment: “I took out the extra driving footage that clearly didn’t contribute to the overall content of the video.
Supporters expressed outrage at his reckless driving, particularly since it took place in a neighborhood where kids often play, and other content creators also shared their thoughts on the matter.
After facing criticism, MKBHD removes his YouTube video featuring him driving a Lamborghini at 96 mph in a 35 mph residential zone.

Amidst the uproar, another YouTube personality named Mutahar published a video called ‘I’m Extremely Disillusioned by Marques Brownlee.’ In this video, he criticized Marques for his reckless driving behavior.
Additionally, Mutahar shared personal accounts of mourning the loss of dear ones in fatal car crashes, expressing his hope that Brownlee would exhibit conduct far superior to what was shown in his video, suggesting a more positive and respectful approach.
If a child suddenly appeared out of no where, it’s a fact that such a child would be in grave danger. It’s as straightforward as that. There’s nothing humorous about this statement, Mutahar clarified.
I’ve often mocked many influencers for their foolish actions. Given Marques Brownlee’s stature, it’s clear that if one were to engage in such activities, it would be highly unfortunate… I had honestly hoped for a higher standard from him.
Apart from Mutahar, another notable figure, Philip DeFranco, joined in on the humor surrounding Brownlee’s viral speeding video. He shared a picture of MKBHD’s dashboard as his phone’s wallpaper on Twitter.
DeFranco expressed his fondness for the new Premium Wallpaper on his Panels, a sentiment possibly influenced by the past controversy surrounding Brownlee’s contentious wallpaper application.
Loving my new Panels Premium Wallpaper 🔥🔥🔥

Regarding MKBHD’s speeding incident, Mutahar expressed his continued admiration for him as a peer in content creation, yet emphasized that he believes a more exemplary behavior is warranted from someone of such high regard in the industry.
On November 12, Brownlee posted an apology on Twitter, expressing regret by stating, “I’m truly sorry for my actions and assure you they won’t be repeated in such a reckless manner again. I deeply regret setting a poor example, and for that, I am genuinely apologetic.
