Renka, a Japanese independent game developer, has announced their upcoming strategy RPG, Balorizon, on Steam. The game will be released in English this May.
In this game, you’ll lead a colony in a fantasy world, focusing on its growth through managing internal issues, building relationships with others, and waging wars. Your choices will matter, as the game features over 10 different endings based on how you play.
This developer has acknowledged using AI to create music and initial artwork, not just for their current game, but also for recent titles like Mercury Elopement Syndrome, The End of the World and Her Room, and Sun Halo. We also believe the English translation of this game may have been done using AI. The game’s descriptions incorrectly refer to the game as “Tianping Line”—a direct translation of the original Japanese title—instead of the official English title, Balorizon.
You can find the official screenshots and English descriptions for Balorizon right below.

Become the governor of a fantasy colony and guide its growth! Manage the economy, keep the peace between different races, and expand your territory.
Shape the destiny of your country! You’ll make crucial decisions about everything from internal policies and relationships with other nations, to growth and unexpected crises. Each choice you make will not only affect your country’s progress but also influence how you handle challenges down the road.
Assemble a team of unique characters with varied abilities. You can recruit dozens of heroes, each with different skills, roles, and ways to improve. Customize your team and how each character develops to overcome specific challenges and adapt to any situation.
The game features branching storylines and offers over ten unique endings. As you build your nation, you’ll meet new characters and encounter evolving plots. Every decision you make has consequences, shaping the future and determining which of the many endings you’ll achieve.
If you’re frustrated with negotiation and holding back, simply take control by force. You can accumulate wealth, control the people, and gather resources, even if it means facing tougher challenges under a harsh, dictatorial regime.
What you shape is not only the nation’s future, but also how this world answers you.
