Streamer SoLLUMINATI announced his decision to remain on Twitch, even though he doesn’t find it entirely secure, due to the fact that Kick, his alternative option, doesn’t provide substantial financial incentives.
In early May, SoLLUMINATI resumed streaming on Twitch following a ban that lasted over five years. Yet, it wasn’t long before he once again found himself in a heated situation.
For the first time since his return, SoLLUMINATI faced a ban from Twitch, following a test on inappropriate conduct. He was banned again on May 20th, when he had nearly 90,000 viewers tuned in for an NBA 2K earnings broadcast.
Due to the two prohibitions, the streamer expressed his lack of security on Twitch and hinted at migrating to a different platform. Adin Ross spearheaded the move towards Kick, but since the Stake-supported platform doesn’t offer substantial contracts, he remains on Twitch.
SoLLUMINATI backtracks on Twitch exit
He stated on June 2 that “They’ve been selling subpar stuff, they’ve been selling subpar. The executives, the CEO, they aren’t providing any additional benefits over there; they seem content with what they currently possess,” referring to certain streamers who received substantial paychecks from Kick.
Other platforms were pushing for me to cease streaming on Twitch altogether, and instead, they urged me to stream exclusively with them. However, I have no intention of abandoning Twitch. Instead, I was seeking an alternative platform, serving as a backup, in case I continue getting banned, so I can still broadcast live.
Currently, I’ve got no plans to depart from Twitch. Rest assured, I’m not planning on going anywhere – I’m comfortable where I am. However, I do need to tone down my language slightly.
Solluminati reveals he won’t be switching to Kick, he’ll stay put on Twitch.”
Or more colloquially:
“He’s saying no to the offer from Kick and sticking with Twitch.

Previously mentioned, the streamer had earlier expressed interest in joining Kick through Ross. “Adin announced that SoLLUMINATI was joining Kick, and it’s a done deal,” could be a simpler way of putting it.
Previously, SoLLUMINATI announced his intention to cancel several major live streams he was planning for Twitch. However, it seems that situation might have shifted, as he once expressed, “Twitch doesn’t even deserve me, man.” This could potentially indicate a change in his decision now.
