Social Media Influencers Kyle Thomas, Jacob Sartorius, Benji Krol Star in ‘A Day for Losers’ From ‘Numbered Lives’ Director J.G. Clarke (EXCLUSIVE)

Three popular social media personalities, Kyle Thomas (known as “We Built a Zoo”), Jacob Sartorius (the “Loneliest Boy in the World”), and Benji Krol, are soon to appear in “A Day for Losers,” a humorous high school film written and directed by Australian filmmaker J.G. Clarke, who has previously worked on “Numbered Lives.

David Lightfoot from Cardinal Motion Pictures, famously known for “Land of Bad,” will join forces with Clarke for production, with filming scheduled to start in August 2025 right here in Australia.

The Unforgettable Bash” happens within the premises of South Margin Military School, where the disenchanted student, Thomas, rashly vows to host the ultimate get-together for the girl he adores.

Clarke expressed a desire to revive a bolder form of humor that’s been lacking on screens lately,” said he. “Frequently, high school students, especially those from minority backgrounds, are portrayed as damaged, lonely, and powerless in media. Our aim is to depict them truthfully – as individuals who bravely confront their difficulties, triumph over them, and enjoy life to the fullest during the process.

I, too, observed that numerous movies have tried to embody Generation Z using contrived jargon and obsolete references. However, it’s crucial to remember that those who not only lived this era but also actively contributed to its shaping are the ones who can authentically represent us best.

In the movie “A Day for Losers,” the director deliberately chose Benji, Kyle, and Jacob, who have touched the hearts of over tens of millions of people, through a conventional casting process. As Clarke explained, “I selected them because they truly embody these characters, they offer authenticity, and they aren’t hesitant to give their all.

Born in Brazil to an Argentinian mother and a British father, Krol initially garnered attention through his popular viral makeup styles on social media platforms like TikTok (34.8 million followers) and Instagram (2.3 million followers). Since then, he has been sharing relatable personal experiences that resonate with a global audience of teenagers and young adults.

Thomas, boasting over 36.6 million followers on TikTok and 1.4 million on Instagram, starred in the BBC show titled “We Constructed a Wildlife Haven.” This program chronicled Kyle’s ambitious project to establish his personal animal refuge while dealing with zoning laws and disgruntled neighbors.

Boasting a massive fanbase of 23.5 million on TikTok and 11 million on Instagram, Sartorius kick-started his career in the world of musical theater at just 7 years old, showcasing his multi-faceted abilities. As part of his efforts to champion mental health among teenagers, he created a documentary featuring his collaborations with Wim Hoff.
