‘SNL’ Reveals Alec Baldwin as Bret Baier in Spoof of Kamala Harris’ Fox News Interview: ‘You’re Very Sexy When You’re Angry’

As a long-time follower of Saturday Night Live and a political enthusiast, I must admit that Alec Baldwin’s return as Bret Baier was a delightful surprise. It’s been a while since we’ve seen him on the show, and his portrayal of the Fox News anchor was spot-on.

Alec Baldwin made a comeback to “Saturday Night Live” for the first time since 2020, this time however, without reprising his popular Donald Trump character.

On the October 19th edition of the late-night comedic show, he impersonated Bret Baier from Fox News, satirizing his recent conversation with Vice President Kamala Harris, who is portrayed by Maya Rudolph during the entirety of Season 50.

Rudolph expressed that the enjoyment wasn’t for either of us,” she stated upon sitting beside Baldwin following their introduction.

Baier, Baldwin started off by saying: “During my interview with President Trump, I asked him, ‘What do you consider to be the most significant challenge our nation is facing today?’ Now, I’d like to ask you directly, ‘Can you tell me exactly how many dangerous criminals have been released within our borders?’

In their exchange reminiscent of the actual interview on Wednesday, they began to argue and talk over each other, similar to Baier and Harris. “May I please finish?” Rudolph inquired. Baldwin replied, “Of course.” Rudolph then retorted, “Then you need to listen,” to which Baldwin responded, “I’m sorry, but I can’t, because I’m speaking.” Frustrated, Rudolph asked, “When will you stop?” The interaction concluded with Baier saying, “Perhaps when I go to sleep.

Throughout the entire drawing, Baldwin’s character persistently attempted to provoke the Vice President. When he implied that Harris was insulting Trump supporters with his remarks – “Are they foolish? Are they simpletons? Dumbstruck? Hick-riders? Cross-eyed brutes?” she retorted, “You’re trying to get me to say something negative!

Baldwin commented, ‘You’re quite attractive when you’re upset,’ which caused a big laugh from the crowd. Rudolph responded, ‘Yes, I am aware of that.’
