After Morgan Wallen, a well-known country artist, unexpectedly left ‘Saturday Night Live’ last week, the show isn’t choosing to forget the incident.
On the final night of the March 29th episode, Wallen departed the stage prematurely during the customary goodbyes and group hugs. Following this, he shared an Instagram post featuring a picture of his private jet along with the caption, “Transport me to the land of God.
In the most recent “Saturday Night Live” installment, the program poked fun at Wallen’s exit strategy not just once but twice. During the “Weekend Update” segment, Colin Jost remarked: “This past week has been the stock market’s roughest since the summer of 2020. However, it’s important to recall that at that time, our president was still Trump. In the last two days alone, investors have watched over $6 trillion vanish. The stock market is emptying faster than Morgan Wallen when saying goodbye.
