Smile 2 4K Steelbook Limited Edition Revealed, Preorders Now Available

As a hardcore horror enthusiast with a penchant for collector’s items and a soft spot for steelbook editions, I am beyond thrilled about the preorders for Smile 2’s Limited-Edition Steelbook 4K Blu-ray. Having gone through the chilling experience of the first movie, I can’t wait to delve deeper into the curse that haunts our screens and torments unsuspecting characters.

The horror sequel “Smile 2” debuted in theaters on October 18th, but you can already pre-order its upcoming Blu-ray version online. Although the exact release date is yet to be announced, various physical editions of Smile 2 have been unveiled, such as a limited-edition steelbook variant.

In this two-disc set of Smile 2, you’ll find the film available in 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD), standard Blu-ray, and digital format for download. As for the extra features, they haven’t been disclosed yet. However, what we do know is that it comes in a special limited-edition steelbook case, which boasts an exclusive cover and interior artwork.

At Amazon and Walmart, you can place preorders for the same item, but the prices differ. On Amazon, the 4K steelbook edition is priced at $45, whereas Walmart offers it for $35. It’s possible that both retailers will adjust their prices to be similar prior to the Blu-ray release. Regardless of your choice, preordering from either store ensures you’ll get the lowest price and won’t be charged until your order is shipped.

Version 2 of the movie will come with standard 4K Blu-ray and DVD editions, in addition to the Steelbook version. You can now preorder these options on Amazon.

Similar to its predecessor, Smile 2 is another chilling story about individuals afflicted by unsettling visions of smiles that are invisible to others, leading ultimately to their demise. The second installment introduces a fresh protagonist, pop sensation Skye Riley (portrayed by Naomi Scott), who unknowingly receives the curse prior to embarking on her tour.

If you’re new to the series and curious about the origin of the curse, the initial Smile movie is available in various Blu-ray editions, such as the two-disc steelbook edition, which will be similar to the one for Smile 2. You can purchase it online at Zavvi for $39. The steelbook version offers the first Smile movie in both 4K and standard Blu-ray formats, along with the short film that sparked the franchise, Laura Hasn’t Slept. Additionally, there are special features included.
