Skyesports Championship 2024 Day 3 Scores, Results & Match Reports

As a seasoned CS:GO analyst with years of experience under my belt, I’ve seen it all – from one-sided victories to nail-biting comebacks. Today, I had the opportunity to witness some exciting matches in Group A and B of this tournament.

On the third day of the Skyesports Championship 2024, the competition reached a pivotal point. The frontrunners, Aurora and 3DMAX, managed to seize the top spots in their respective groups. Neither team has tasted defeat in this tournament so far, ensuring them a place in the Playoffs.

The rivalry between The MongolZ and ENCE is intense, as they each have earned six points and are vying for the final Playoff spot and third place. Here’s a quick recap of yesterday’s matches, followed by the current league standings.

    Aurora vs ENCE

    • Winner: Aurora
    • Final Score: 16-14

On Inferno, ENCE and Aurora engaged in a tight and extended match. Initially, ENCE dominated with victories in the opening three rounds. However, Aurora, known for their formidable presence, managed to seize control of the remainder of the first half. ENCE added only one more win to their tally, resulting in a scoreline of 8-4.

In the second half, the tables completely flipped for me as a fan. Although Aurora got off to a good start by winning the pistol round, they weren’t able to build on that lead. Instead, ENCE took control and dominated the rest of the game, forcing it into overtime. But even in the face of adversity, Aurora didn’t give up. They regrouped and refocused during the break between rounds to secure a hard-fought victory by a score of 16-14.

    BLEED vs The MongolZ

    • Winner: BLEED
    • Final Score: 13-11

I’ve been following The MongolZ’s gaming journey, and they’ve always played their matches on Mirage up until now. But this time around, they encountered a tough challenge from the formidable team BLEED on the same map. The game was a nail-biting experience with the lead changing hands frequently between the two teams. The MongolZ got off to a strong start by winning the initial two rounds. However, BLEED quickly responded and took a commanding 5-2 lead.

In the second half, The MongolZ took over the lead by winning six rounds in a row, while BLEED claimed victory in only one round. However, the outcome was still evenly matched with a 12-12 score at the end of the game.

Unfortunately for them, BLEED managed to stage a remarkable comeback and won the last four rounds, securing a 13-11 victory.

    ENCE vs PARIVISION

    • Winner: ENCE
    • Final Score: 13-7

Despite coming close to securing an upset victory against Aurora, ENCE aimed to remain in contention and make it to the playoffs. However, their efforts were hindered as PARIVISION dominated the initial stages. Even after winning the pistol round, PARIVISION took a 5-2 lead on Dust2 by triumphing in five out of six rounds.

I was rooting for ENCE, but once again they surprised me with a stunning comeback in the first half, taking the remaining rounds to end it at 7-5. The second half was all ENCE’s game as they dominated PARIVISION, only allowing them to win two rounds, and ultimately securing the map victory with a score of 13-7.

    True Rippers vs Aurora

    • Winner: Aurora
    • Final Score: 13-5

Aurora maintained their superiority over True Rippers in their match on Ancient, resulting in a lopsided victory with a score of 13-5. The first half of the game belonged to Aurora, who established an impressive lead of 11-1 and reached the brink of victory by triumphing in the pistol round once more. True Rippers made a valiant effort to stage a comeback, but their chances were slim, and they managed to secure only four rounds before Aurora clinched another win, this time with a score of 13-5.

    Group B

    3DMAX vs DMS

    • Winner: 3DMAX
    • Final Score: 13-5

As a gamer in first person: On day three of the event, I, 3DMAX, came out strong from Group B. Following a tight win in our previous match, we took control of Inferno against DMS who were still searching for their first victory. The entire map was a breeze for us as we never gave DMS a chance to mount a comeback, securing a convincing 13-5 victory.

    Eternal Fire vs AMKAL

    • Winner: Eternal Fire
    • Final Score: 13-5

In the latest matchup, Eternal Fire dominated with a series of four consecutive victories to begin with. AMKAL made some progress, managing to secure three rounds in response. However, Eternal Fire’s momentum became unstoppable, enabling them to win all remaining rounds in the first half, leading by a score of 9-3. The second half saw a similar pattern unfold, with Eternal Fire taking control and ultimately securing victory without much resistance from AMKAL, ending the match with a resounding score of 13-5.

    3DMAX vs Revenant

    • Winner: 3DMAX
    • Final Score: 13-0

As a fan, I’ve noticed that Revenant hasn’t managed to secure a victory in this event yet. But this time around, they were up against a formidable opponent in 3DMAX. The competition seemed too intense for them, and unfortunately, we ended up with the first sweeps (13-0) of the tournament. With such results, it’s becoming increasingly challenging for Revenant to make it to the Playoffs.
