As a seasoned movie-goer and reality TV enthusiast with over three decades of viewing under my belt, I must say that the latest trailer for “Sister Wives” Season 19 has piqued my curiosity like never before. The Brown family’s tumultuous journey is as captivating as a blockbuster film, with more twists and turns than a rollercoaster ride at an amusement park.
Despite facing numerous challenges within the Brown household, the intrigue surrounding their interactions with Kody Brown remains intact. In the nineteenth season of “Sister Wives,” Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn Brown continue to shed light on the intricacies of their relationships while collectively dealing with the loss of Garrison Brown, their shared son with Kody.
In the upcoming season trailer airing on TLC starting September 15th, the group simultaneously grieves and honors Garrison’s life while navigating new paths. Meri chooses to part ways with Kody and seeks a religious dissolution (similar to a divorce) from their former church, creating turmoil at home. Kody tells Meri that what’s difficult isn’t the divorce itself, but marrying someone unsuitable.
Kody expresses regret about marrying Meri, ending the trailer’s preview with the statement: “If I don’t feel love for you, it’s your fault, understand?” He labels their family dynamics as a “state of internal conflict,” or in simpler terms, a “family at war.”
Janelle is determined to heal from the loss of her son, leave behind Flagstaff where her family resides, and start anew. Christine, who parted ways with Kody in November 2021 after more than two decades of marriage, has found a new partner, David. The couple went on their initial date, cohabited, and got married within a year in Moab, Utah. In the upcoming episodes, viewers will witness Christine presenting her new companion to her former wives and ex-husband, Kody.
Despite the departures of Christine, Janelle, and Meri, Kody remains legally wedded to his fourth spouse, Robyn. They strive to adjust to monogamy and forsake polygamy in their relationship.
