2025 has seen some incredible films, but none have left me as spellbound as “Sinners” did! This movie scored an unprecedented perfect rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and I can’t wait for its release on streaming platforms. Here’s a little insider info: it’ll be making its digital debut exclusively at one platform before anywhere else. So mark your calendars, fellow fans – we don’t want to miss this masterpiece!
Under the guidance of director Ryan Coogler (known for Black Panther and Fruitvale Station), the film features Michael B. Jordan portraying two characters: Smoke and Stack, twin brothers seeking a fresh start away from their tumultuous past. However, upon their return to their hometown, they encounter an ominous threat that surpasses anything they’ve faced before.
It’s not giving anything away since it’s already shown in all previews: the characters are vampires, and among them is portrayed by Jack O’Connell.

Sinners will be exclusively available in cinemas from Friday, April 18, 2025.
If possible, try to find an IMAX theater showing the 70mm version of the movie, as this marks the first time a film by a Black director is being screened on motion picture film, specifically IMAX 15 perf 70mm, according to Coogler’s interview with Sway’s Universe.
