Sims Killer Overtakes Most Anticipated Game on Steam

In the gaming world, it’s now KRAFTON’s InZOI, a lifelike simulation game, that’s leading the pack as the most anticipated title on Steam, surpassing Hollow Knight: Silksong in terms of wish lists.

Initially, when InZOI was unveiled, the life simulation enthusiasts were taken by surprise. After a long time, it seemed there might be some rivalry in the life simulation genre. Just like The Sims, this game allows you to design characters and guide them as they interact with the world, making their own decisions.

Initially planned for release in 2024, the game has now been postponed to March 28, 2025. Instead, it will first be available as early access, with developers aiming to “develop an experience that lives up to the expectations of players who have been dedicated fans of this genre for a long time.

As the launch approaches, a life simulation game has taken over from Hollow Knight: Silksong as the most anticipated game on Steam based on user wish lists.

InZOI becomes the most wish-lishted game on Steam

Previously, developers have invited players to test the free Creative Studio demo by gaining access through live stream viewings.

In a blink of an eye, I’ve noticed my new game is making waves, outpacing heavyweights like Hollow Knight: Silksong, Elden Ring Nightrein, and even Valve’s Deadlock in terms of the number of wishlists it has amassed on SteamDB. It feels incredible to be part of such a rapidly growing community!

It’s quite understandable why there’s such excitement surrounding this game. Not only does it offer more customization options than one might initially assume, but it also provides a unique depth that makes it stand out.

This feature enables you to customize various aspects of a character, such as its physical features, personality traits, and even intricate details like the fabric texture or design on its clothing.

The construction method they’ve designed offers numerous personalization choices, enabling you to create your ideal residence. Additionally, it includes various gameplay elements such as karma points, pets, professions, and more, to ensure continued player involvement.

The game, starting from its release, is also verified to include multiple seasons, which is typically offered as downloadable content for other games.

Despite launching initially as an early access title for $40, the developers have outlined a series of significant free upgrades coming within the next few months.
