Silent Hill Remake devs new game delights players with a dark location where physics plays quite a few tricks. Check out 10 minutes of Cronos: The New Dawn gameplay

In their recent release, Bloober Team unveiled fresh content from Cronos: The New Dawn – an upcoming science fiction title with a significant psychological bend. The latest gameplay delves into the enigmatic Sector A-0 – a distorted, anomalous locale where traditional physics rules cease to exist.

The video offers numerous gripping instances that captivate viewers due to its ominous ambiance, intricate mechanics, and visually captivating aspects. Initially, the central figure, referred to as the Traveler, finds himself in a strange, dreamlike setting where gravity appears to function erratically. The environment exhibits unpredictability: objects float mid-air, architectural structures are distorted, and spatial geometry shifts dramatically as if seen through the eyes of the player. What was once the floor can suddenly transform into the ceiling.

Towards the end of the video, the Explorer encounters a dilapidated hospital via a rift in existence, surprisingly not entirely deserted. Grotesque creatures prowl through the hallways, responding to any hasty actions taken by the player. Although it exudes an eerie ambiance, remnants of a former life can be spotted within the structure, heightening feelings of discomfort.

In an open admission, Jacek Zieba, our game’s director, acknowledged that the visual and storytelling elements of our game, “Cronos: The New Dawn,” were influenced by the German Netflix series “Dark.” This influence is evident as the game world exudes a thick air of mystery, horror, and melancholy.

In no time, the YouTube video featuring the gameplay garnered numerous comments expressing admiration. Many gamers have noticed resemblances to Dead Space and Resident Evil franchises, while some even draw comparisons to Rerutnal. There’s a growing curiosity among them about the release date.

The upcoming game titled “Cronos: The New Dawn” will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S this autumn.
