As a movie enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve learned Signature Entertainment has secured the distribution rights for “The Beldham” in the UK, Ireland, and Latin America! This chilling horror flick hails from the creative minds at The Coven. Can’t wait to see it on the big screen soon!
This feature film is created by Talia Bella (“Cottonmouth”), Angela Gulner (“The Summoned”), Mark Meir (“The Summoned”) and Randy Wayne (“Cottonmouth”). It is helmed by debut director Angela Gulner, who is also the scriptwriter for this project. The cast includes Patricia Heaton (“Everybody Loves Raymond”), Corbin Bernsen (“Kiss Kiss Bang Bang”), Katie Parker (“The Fall of the House of Usher”), and Emma Fitzpatrick (“The Social Network,” “In Time,” “Take Back the Night”).

At the Sitges International Film Festival 2024, “The Beldham” made its global debut, and it was also screened at Filmquest. During this screening, Gulner was honored as the Best Director, and Heaton received recognition for her exceptional performance as Best Supporting Actress.
The movie centers around a woman raising her child alone, who then decides to live with her mother and work on restoring an old farmhouse in the suburbs. However, she encounters a menacing entity that appears to be targeting her baby.
I, a devoted cinephile, had the privilege of being a fly on the wall during the negotiation between Olivia Pastor, acquisitions executive at Signature Entertainment, and Anelle Dehghani, the head of sales at The Coven. What a fascinating exchange it was!
Priscilla Ross Smith from The Coven stated that what truly astounded her was how a terrifying supernatural tale managed to evoke such intense, raw emotions by the finale. She praised the intricate craftsmanship of the story and suggested that Director Angela Gulner should be on everyone’s must-watch list in town.
