Sigma Star Saga DX is a remastered version of the 2005 Game Boy Advance game, Sigma Star Saga, now available on consoles and PC. This sci-fi adventure blends fast-paced, side-scrolling spaceship combat with RPG-style exploration. You play as Ian Recker, an Earth pilot tasked with infiltrating the Krill empire. You’ll journey across planets, collect items, and gather information, then switch to intense spaceship battles with a huge variety of weapon options – over 15,000 combinations! Playing as a spy, Recker will face difficult choices and meet memorable characters like the alluring Krill soldier Psyme and the intelligent Earth scientist Scarlet.
Sigma Star Saga DX for consoles and PC uses the same graphics, gameplay, and music as the original Game Boy Advance version, but with a lot of improvements. These include a better map, fewer random battles, a more balanced experience system, tweaked auto-fire, extra save points, and bug fixes. It also adds new features like a concept art gallery, a music player, different border styles, a rewind feature, and the ability to save at any point during gameplay.
For those who like to own physical copies of games, Sigma Star Saga DX will soon be available for preorder on Switch and PlayStation 5 through limitedrungames.com. Keep an eye on our social media and Limited Run Games’ channels for the exact date and details.
