8th Law Pictures, Empire Studios, and Everly Entertainment Production have announced an enlarged cast and shared initial glimpses of their upcoming festive action-comedy “Jingle All The Slay.” This movie is now available for global distribution.
In addition to Nick Sagar (“The Princess Switch” trilogy) and Ricky Norwood (“EastEnders”), we have the newcomers Julio Cesar Cedillo (“Sicario”), Adam Korson (“This Is Us”) and Montana Manning (“Hollyoaks”). They are set to join our cast.
The cast features Florence Hall (known for “The Princess Switch 2 & 3”), Eloise Lovell Anderson (“Villain”), Mark Fleischmann (“Being Human”), Vas Blackwood (“Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels”), Gabriela Ochoa Perez (“FBI”), and Tim Cullingworth-Hudson (“Prizefighter”). The cast is completed by Bradley Stryker (“Terrifier 3”), who also serves as the director.
Stryker combined the humorous tone from ‘Home Alone’ with action-packed fight scenes similar to those in ‘Rush Hour’. This blend, he believes, will result in a fun family Christmas movie that will be cherished for generations. Stryker, who wears many hats as a filmmaker, stated, “Jingle is the epitome of independent cinema at its finest – a group of talented individuals came together with the intention of creating an exceptionally entertaining Christmas film, and I daresay, our effort surpassed all expectations.
The movie chronicles hitman Hank Carter’s frantic effort to salvage his marriage during a picture-perfect family Christmas, but things get tricky when a band of festive bounty hunters pursue him for an attractive reward.
After working together on “Queen of the South” at USA Network, Mordecai’s actor, Cedillo, reunited with Sagar. Speaking about their recent collaboration in the Christmas special “Jingle All The Slay”, Cedillo expressed that it was one of his most fulfilling work experiences due to a well-crafted script inspired by classic holiday comedies. He also mentioned that they had the advantage of being led by an exceptionally skilled director, who is not only gifted but also highly attuned to actors’ needs.
This project represents a collaborative effort of creativity between Stryker, who leads the way from a screenplay he co-authored with Charley McDougall (“The Reckoning”), and lead actor Sagar. The production team consists of Jamie McLeod-Ross (“The Reckoning”), McDougall, Sagar, and Stryker, with Arthur Corber serving as executive producer.

Charley McDougall, both writer and producer, expressed how much fun they had creating “Jingle All The Slay”. It’s reminiscent of the beloved ’90s films we cherished in our youth. We’ve infused the thrilling action from a ‘John Wick’ movie with the quirky humor of ‘Home Alone’, and we believe we’ve crafted something genuinely distinctive. This isn’t a standalone production; it lays the groundwork for a series that can endure long after this initial meeting.
In this production, Simon Stolland (“Marching Powder”), takes on the role as cinematographer, while Mark Keady (“The Tourist”) is in charge of editing. Jack Peter Mundy was responsible for capturing the photos during filming.
For Sagar, the movie serves as a significant achievement in his career. “Being a producer for the first time, starting with a short film alongside my partner back in 2024, and now with ‘Jingle All The Slay,’ this experience has been truly remarkable,” Sagar expressed. “From the beginning, I envisioned ‘Jingle All The Slay’ to embody genuine emotion and strong family values amidst the festive mayhem. To me, this isn’t merely a holiday film; it’s an opportunity to tread new paths, merging traditional holiday warmth with exhilarating action in a manner that feels innovative and captivating.
McLeod-Ross emphasized the personal importance of their project: “Growing up alongside Nick Sagar, we shared a dream of collaborating on films. Now, to see that dream come true – especially on such a heartwarming, lighthearted, family-friendly production – fills us with immense pride. We can hardly wait to spread the laughter and excitement worldwide.
Title “Jingle All The Slay” is now in its post-production phase, aiming for a Christmas 2025 debut. The team behind it intends to offer the movie for sale during the Cannes Film Market, which is scheduled for May.
