Shiba Inu Burn Rate Takes a Nap, But Can SHIB Hold On to $0.000015?

In the thrilling world of Shiba Inu (SHIB), where things are always either burning or being burned, something utterly shocking has happened. The burn rate has just… well, stopped. Like, really stopped. We’re talking a 100% drop in burn activity, according to Shibburn’s latest data. A complete halt in destruction. Zip. Zilch. Zero.

The current tally for SHIB tokens incinerated from the original supply remains at 410,748,494,626,099 – which is a big number and would make anyone feel good about their life choices, except, apparently, the burn rate gods who have decided to take a long lunch break.

And it gets better. The burn rate didn’t just gently slow down. Oh no, it fell off a cliff. A dramatic 100% drop in the last 24 hours. This is, of course, the same coin that had a 9400% spike in burn activity just a few days ago on May 11, 2025. So, it’s like the Shiba Inu community went from burning everything in sight to, well, wondering if anyone still remembers how to light a match.

And just like that, we’re left with the question: will SHIB’s price hold onto its tenuous grip at $0.000015, or will it succumb to the whims of the market, which at this point, might just be a cat playing with a mouse?
