Severance Season 2 Finale: Prepare for More Questions Than Answers!

After three years of waiting for its return, Severance Season 2 is now coming to an end, and star Zach Cherry thinks fans may be left with more questions than answers. (Again.)

The debut season of the Apple TV+ series ended in a surprising twist, as the MDR group unexpectedly invaded the personal lives of their Outie counterparts, revealing shocking facts (“She’s still alive!”).

Although this particular season didn’t provide all the key answers concerning the series, it did shed light on some shocking aspects of Lumon, Harmony Cobel, and the mystery behind Gemma’s disappearance.

The Season 2 finale arrives next week, and according to one star, fans may need to prepare for another cliffhanger ending.

Zach Cherry says Severance S2 finale will excite people

Speaking to TopMob, Zach Cherry (who plays Dylan) revealed that the Season 2 ending may be just as mysterious as the last.

He expressed that viewers might discover numerous new facts, yet they may also find themselves pondering many unanswered questions about upcoming events. However, he is confident that the audience will feel a great sense of anticipation about what lies ahead following this current season.

Thankfully, Season 3 has already been confirmed. So although there may be another nail-biting wait to find out what happens next, fans can take some comfort in knowing that even the cast doesn’t know what’s coming.

When queried about the events in Season 3, Cherry admitted, “To be truthful, I’m just as clueless as you are. Yet, I can’t wait to discover it alongside everyone else.

“I really do try and just approach this like a roller coaster, and during Season 1 I didn’t really ask a lot of questions because Dylan wouldn’t. He didn’t really care. So I’ve tried to let things come to me as they come. And for me, that has worked and it’s made it enjoyable.”

By the end of Season 2, Mark, Helly, Burt and Dylan find themselves separated, as Cherry’s character has stepped down from his Innie position in Episode 9. Yet, he requires his Outie’s consent to continue, so we are left wondering about Dylan’s future course of action.

Severance Season 2 Episode 10 premieres on March 20 on Apple TV+.
