The Garuda later served as an enhancement for Mechagodzilla, resulting in a combined entity known as Super Mechagodzilla that came close to defeating Godzilla. However, Rodan sacrificed his life energy to empower Godzilla, who eventually defeated Super Mechagodzilla.
In the wreckage of Super Mechagodzilla, G-Force constructed M.O.G.U.E.R.A., a colossal robot intended for a face-off with Godzilla when necessary.
