Serial Killer Demands PlayStation or Goes on Hunger Strike

Known as ‘Hannibal the Cannibal’, one of Britain’s infamous serial killers, Robert Maudsley, has reportedly started a hunger strike following the confiscation of his PlayStation by prison guards.

74-year-old Maudsley holds a unique world record: he’s served the longest time in solitary confinement out of any known individual, spending approximately 46 years in isolation.

To maintain his mental balance, ‘The Cannibal’ frequently immersed himself in fictional works such as books, TV shows, or video games, as stated by his brother Paul Maudsley. However, since the guards recently confiscated his entertainment items, including his PlayStation console, this criminal is currently on a hunger strike in protest.

According to Paul, who spoke with the Mirror UK, Robert will stop eating until he gets back his PlayStation.

It’s been claimed by Paul that there was a recent “practice drill.” In this exercise, prison staff were on the hunt for an inmate who allegedly brought a gun into the facility. This search caused Bob’s area to be off-limits for a few days.

“Bob complained and he’s normally polite, but the prison officers accused him of being abusive.”

After this presumed action, upon returning to his prison cell, Bob discovered that his television, gaming console, reading materials, and radio were all taken away.

As a gamer speaking here, let me tell ya, “If you notice that I’m not reaching out anymore, it’s because I’ve decided to go on a fast. Don’t be alarmed by the silence.” (Bob, supposedly, said this to his brother.)

According to Paul, it appeared that these types of leisure activities held great importance in his life; he would often spend his free time engaged in war games and chess on his PlayStation, as well as watching vintage movies on television and immersed in non-fiction literature.

At 21, Bob initially served a lifelong prison term following conviction of a double murder. Four years into his imprisonment, he committed another killing, targeting three inmates who were infamous for alleged acts of child rape and pedophilia.

After his prolonged series of actions, Bob was isolated and kept in solitary confinement, a situation that has persisted for an unprecedented length of time. This extraordinary duration of isolation has earned him the title of Britain’s most notorious prisoner by many.
