In 2005, many of the cast members reassembled for Serenity, a movie sequel that addressed some of the series’ unresolved questions. Firefly enthusiasts can now commemorate the 20th anniversary of Serenity with an upcoming limited-edition Steelbook release. Serenity: 20th Anniversary Limited Edition Steelbook is planned to debut on July 22, and preorders can be made at Amazon and Walmart as of now.

Since 2018, Serenity has continued its story through various comic book sequels. Over the past seven years, numerous Firefly comic book series and graphic novels have been published. The first 12 issues of the comic book series are compiled in a three-volume set titled “Firefly: The Unification War.” Additionally, you can find more stories set after the film in the Firefly Legacy Edition omnibuses.
