Following whispers and sneak peeks suggesting a partnership, it has now been confirmed: Sea of Thieves is incorporating the style of Destiny 2 onto the high seas starting from today’s update. Gamers can now customize their ship and crew with chic Lightbearer items and gear like Ghost anchors and sails adorned with emblems representing either Hunter, Warlock, or Titan. Additionally, players can choose class-specific figureheads, wheels, and a ship’s crest, all embellished with Destiny symbols.
Below, you’ll find the trailer showcasing the entire Lightbearer collection, featuring costumes like Drifter and ornaments such as Whisper of the Worm for Eye of Reach. To prepare for combat, head over to the Pirate Emporium. Keep your gaze skyward, hearty souls!
As a gamer, I found Destiny’s classes and collaborative gameplay to create an authentic ‘crew vibe’, which resonated with us deeply. This creative challenge stimulated our teams, resulting in something we’re incredibly proud of!
1) The Lightbearer Big Pack will cost you 4999 Ancient Coins, which is approximately $50, or $45 with a game pass. This weapons bundle comes with four ornaments, one of them being the Ace of Spades, and it costs 499 Ancient Coins. Each ship pack, designed with Hunter, Warlock, or Titan themes, will set you back 3499 Ancient Coins. Sails and figureheads each cost 899, while the Drifter costume is priced at 999 Ancient Coins.
