Lillard: Well, I can’t hide it – I’m feeling a bit anxious. I don’t want to be the one who ruins the team forever. So I’m optimistic, really hoping that people will like what we’re doing. I hope they get excited about me, personally. I’m optimistic that we can deliver. With Kevin back and Neve leading the way again, I think our future looks bright, but only time will tell, right? There are a lot of opinions out there. I just pray that we win over most hearts and minds.

Matthew Lillard Isn’t The Only Actor Returning to the Franchise

Fans Can Look Forward to Seeing Several Other Familiar Faces in Scream 7

In addition to Matthew Lillard, several other familiar faces are set to appear in the upcoming Scream 7. This sequel picks up where Scream VI left off, with Mason Gooding reprising his role as Chad Meeks-Martin, the nephew of Randy Martin. The Meeks-Martin twins were last seen in New York at the end of Scream VI and will return for the next movie.

Legendary figures from the franchise will be featured in “Scream 7”. Among them are Gale Weathers played by Courtney Cox, Roman Bridger portrayed by Scott Foley, and Dewey Riley acted by David Arquette. Roger L. Jackson will once again lend his voice to Ghostface, a role he’s held since 1996. Interestingly, it has been revealed that David Arquette is reprising his role as Dewey, a revelation meant to surprise audiences after his character met a gruesome and emotional end in “Scream” (2022).
