Although Schedule 1 has just recently debuted in early access, this indie sensation is swiftly climbing the rankings on Steam. Let me share with you the current number of players.
Or more casually:
Though Schedule 1 only came out a short while ago in early access, it’s quickly becoming a hit on Steam! Here’s where we stand in terms of player count.
Every single day, it seems like a flood of games from eager indie creators are popping up, but not every one of them manages to grab the attention they deserve. That’s just how things work when there’s an open platform like Steam that gives everyone a chance to shine with their game. I, for one, am always on the lookout for hidden gems among the masses!
Occasionally, independent projects can burst through the clutter and gain immense popularity. These range from humorous cooperative horror games to unexpected hits like a game centered around a banana. At just the right moment, they can quickly become viral phenomena.
The first game on the list shares characteristics similar to both Grand Theft Auto (GTA) and Satisfactory. Essentially, it’s an engaging blend that turns out to be a captivating drug lord simulation. Already generating buzz,
Schedule 1 player count
Schedule 1 reached its peak player count of 142,759 concurrent players on Steam on March 26, 2025.
In just two days following its release, it has already achieved an impressive landmark, and there’s no indication that its momentum is waning.
On Steam, Schedule 1 surpassed heavyweights such as Grand Theft Auto V, Rainbow Six Siege, and more recent sensations like Split Fiction to claim a spot in the top 10 most simultaneously played games on the platform. At its zenith, it ranked ninth among all concurrently active games.

Since Schedule 1 has recently begun its early access phase, currently, it can only be accessed on a personal computer (PC). At this stage of development, there’s no news regarding a console version as the project is still in its initial stages.
To put it simply, due to its immediate success, there’s a strong possibility that Schedule 1 will eventually be accessible on various other service providers.
Long-term support for Schedule 1
Developed single-handedly by a developer based in Sydney, Australia, Schedule 1 has become a remarkable achievement for Tyler’s Video Game Studio (TGVS). Currently available at an early access price of $16.99 USD, this independent creation has not only recovered its development costs but surpassed them as well.
Yet, since this is only the initial stage, there’s a lot more work to follow suit, and the architect of Schedule 1 has already mapped out strategies for the upcoming period.
In upcoming revisions, we can anticipate the introduction of novel drug categories along with unique gameplay mechanics. To begin with, customizable elements will be incorporated into the game, enabling users to modify both the appearance and style of their properties as well as the presentation of their orders’ packaging.
Additionally, parkour will be introduced for enhanced foot navigation, providing a unique opportunity to explore, and it also offers the advantage of streamlining deliveries by employing drivers.

As a dedicated gamer, I can see that there’s a long-term strategy in place for Schedule 1, and it seems like Tyler anticipates this indie game sticking around for quite a while. Whether it can hold onto or even expand its existing player base is uncertain at this point, but as more gamers share their positive experiences, I won’t be shocked if this hit continues to climb the Steam rankings.
