YouTube sensation Ryan Trahan has managed to gather more than five million dollars for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital within mere weeks of embarking on his “50 States in 50 Days” endeavor.

On June 10th, YouTube personality Ryan Trahan declared his intention to embark on one of YouTube’s most challenging tasks yet: visiting each of the 50 U.S. states within a span of only 50 days.

Together with his wife Haley, Ryan has been working diligently to collect funds for St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. But their mission isn’t just about driving through every state line; instead, they revealed from the start that they plan to stay at unique Airbnb accommodations and spend a single night in each state.

Originally, his goal was to collect $1 million for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital within 50 days. Yet, only 35 days into the campaign, he has surpassed this amount by raising more than $5.5 million.

Ryan Trahan 50 States in 50 Days challenge

Trahan, having just posted a video featuring himself and his spouse in Indiana, has visited 36 different states so far. Currently, he’s making his way through the Midwestern region and also plans to complete his tour by exploring the Pacific Northwest.

The pair has also enjoyed unique Airbnb stays, such as a nut-shaped replica, a nuclear missile shelter, a lighthouse, and even a castle.

As a fervent supporter, I’m thrilled to share that his fundraising target has climbed up to an impressive $6 million. I’ve got no doubt in my mind that he’ll surpass this milestone in no time at all!

In this fundraiser, as with many others, there are set targets for donations and consequences for the YouTuber if these targets aren’t met. If the donation amount reaches $50,000, he and his wife will have to spin the ‘Wheel of Doom’ for potential punishments while they are in a new state.

At various stages, he received assistance from several brands and content producers, including MrBeast, Mark Rober, and Doctor Mike, who each took a spin on the Wheel of Fortune-like device at one time.

As noted, there are no signs of the fundraising slowing down as he enters the final two weeks.
