Her drag persona was inspired by Jigglypuff, a Pokémon known for its soothing singing that puts people to sleep. She gained widespread recognition during season 4 of ‘Drag Race’, and has since appeared in shows like ‘Pose’ and ‘Search Party’. In 2016, she publicly identified as transgender. In 2021, Caliente participated in ‘All Stars 6’, and was appointed a judge on ‘Drag Race Philippines’ in 2022.
