‘RuPaul’s Drag Race Live’: WOW Presents Plus to Celebrate 1,000th Show With Special Live Broadcast from Las Vegas (EXCLUSIVE)

Wow, Wow Presents Plus is planning a unique celebration! They’ll mark the 1,000th live show of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” with a special television event straight from Las Vegas. This will be an exclusive stand-alone program.

The global broadcast of the performance will begin at 9:30 p.m. PT on March 15.

The Las Vegas performance, debuted at the Flamingo Hotel in 2020, showcases a revolving group of previous contestants from various seasons of “Drag Race.” For their 1,000th special show, the current lineup – Asia O’Hara, Ginger Minj, Jaida Essence Hall, Kylie Sonique Love, Morphine Love Dion and Plane Jane – will take the stage, with some unexpected guests joining them.

The Las Vegas show that started in 2020 at the Flamingo Hotel has past winners from “Drag Race” performing. For their 1,000th performance, Asia O’Hara, Ginger Minj, Jaida Essence Hall, Kylie Sonique Love, Morphine Love Dion and Plane Jane will be there. Some surprise guests will also join them.

In an interview with EbMaster, the co-founders of World of Wonder, Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato, who also produce “Drag Race,” stated that the 1,000th performance of “RuPaul’s Drag Race Live!” solidifies it as a must-see experience on the famous Las Vegas Strip. This performance serves as proof of the captivating charm, individuality, courage, and skill demonstrated by the numerous queens who have graced both the TV show and the stage at the legendary Flamingo. They added that they are excited to mark this achievement on WOW Presents Plus by broadcasting the 1,000th show live, and launching a fresh season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! Untucked,” offering fans a glimpse into what happens off-stage.

Starting from April 4, “RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! Untucked” enters its second season, and the titleholder of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 16, Nymphia Wind, will be part of the ensemble this time around.

The show ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! Untucked’ gives viewers an exclusive look at what happens backstage during the stage production, as it chronicles the queens’ escapades in Vegas. In its second season, the format remains consistent with that of the first season, and includes Wind among the returning queens: Derrick Barry, Bosco, Lawrence Chaney, Kennedy Davenport, Latrice Royale, and others.
