Rune Factory: Guardians Of Azuma Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Is Up For Preorder

On release day for Nintendo Switch 2, you can grab Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma. Pre-orders are already being taken at Amazon and Best Buy. Similar to other Nintendo Switch 2 versions of multi-generational games, the cost of Guardians of Azuma will be $10 higher on the new console compared to the original Switch version. The release date for this upcoming title in the widely enjoyed role-playing farming sim series is set for June 5, which is a week later than previously anticipated due to a delay from May 30. Both the Nintendo Switch and PC versions of Guardians of Azuma will be available on this new date.

Similar to earlier installments in the Rune Factory series, there are two standard versions available on Nintendo Switch, one of which is the Earth Dancer Limited Edition priced at $100. It seems that the standard edition is the sole physical option for Switch 2, however, if you’ve already pre-ordered the Earth Dancer Limited Edition, you can buy an upgrade on the eShop to download the Switch 2 version.

Tip: These days, it can be challenging and costly to obtain collector’s editions for various Rune Factory games on Switch, such as Rune Factory 5 and Rune Factory 4 Special. If you wish to acquire all the additional items listed, it would be wise to reserve a preorder promptly, as the Earth Dancer Edition may sell out soon.
