RPG Site is a fully independent website, meaning we’re not owned by any large media company or sponsored by brands. We rely entirely on our readers – you! – visiting our site and sharing our articles. We truly appreciate your support, as we couldn’t do this without you. That’s why we ask you every year to tell us what your favorite games of the year are. We consider both traditional RPGs and games that RPG fans might also enjoy.
In December, we asked you to vote in two polls: your favorite RPG from 2025 and the RPG you’re most looking forward to in 2026. We’ve already shared our own picks for the best of 2025 and most anticipated games of 2026, but we were eager to hear your opinions! Here are the results from both polls.
In certain areas, reader votes aligned with our editorial team’s choices, but in others, the majority opinion differed.
Here are the results. They are shown as percentages of the total votes.
Small reminder: Our polling release period goes from December 2024 to November 2025.
