Red Art Games and Square Enix have released Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song Remastered International on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch in Western regions. This version includes support for more languages and is also available as a physical copy.
This updated version of the game now includes audio in two languages and subtitles in French, Italian, German, Spanish, and English. Please note that this international release is a completely new purchase and you won’t be able to carry over your saved progress from the original. Square Enix and Red Art Games have released a remastered version of Romancing SaGa -Minstrel Song for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe. This version includes physical and digital copies, and for the first time, offers French, German, Italian, and Spanish language options.
The remaster builds on the 2022 digital release, updating the original PlayStation 2 game with improved graphics and gameplay. Players can choose to play with either the original Japanese or English voiceovers.
The original Romancing SaGa -Minstrel Song was a 3D remake of the 1991 Super Famicom title Romancing SaGa, known for its unique gameplay features like Glimmer and Combo systems. A key feature is the ‘Free Scenario’ system, allowing players to choose from eight different characters and create their own unique adventure.
The Standard Edition is available now, and two limited editions can be ordered directly from Red Art Games. This International edition makes the game accessible to a wider audience, appealing to both veteran fans and new players alike.
- New French, German, Italian and Spanish localisations (International edition exclusive)
- Full HD graphical upgrade
- New recruitable characters: Schiele, Marina, Monica and Flammar
- Enhanced and more challenging bosses
- High-speed mode
- Mini-maps
- New Game+
- Japanese or English voice options (International edition exclusive)
Romancing SaGa -Minstrel Song- Remastered International adds French, German, Italian, and Spanish language support, along with a few bug fixes, to the 2022 digital version. Everything else in the game is the same. Because this version is sold separately, players wanting these new language options will need to buy it. Unfortunately, you can’t transfer save data from the 2022 version to this new International edition.
