- GTA 5 has been available multiple times on Game Pass, but only in the console version (the game was last taken off the service in January of last year). Now it will not only return to Xbox, but also launch for the first time in the PC version of this subscription.

The enhanced PC version of the game is expected to be released soon, having been unveiled at the start of this month. This edition brings additional content that was initially exclusive to GTA Online on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S, along with numerous graphical upgrades, such as ray tracing.
As a devoted fan, I must admit that the recent GTA 5 Enhanced release has stirred up quite a bit of controversy, largely due to some technical glitches. This is evident when looking at Steam, where GTA 5 Enhanced only boasts a 62% positive review rating. Fortunately, players can still access the original version, labeled as Grand Theft Auto V Legacy on Steam. I’m left pondering if Game Pass will offer a similar alternative for those encountering issues with the enhanced edition.
It’s highly beneficial to note that the Steam community is almost evenly split between these two editions. Yesterday, a staggering 88,000 players were engaging with the Enhanced edition concurrently, while the Legacy edition saw 84,000 active players at the same time. Given this close competition, users would undoubtedly welcome the opportunity to download the classic version as part of their subscription package.
