D’Angelo was a huge fan of the first Red Dead Redemption, so he contacted someone at Rockstar Games and got the chance to test the sequel while it was still being made. Impressed by his passion for the game, Rockstar asked him to create a song for the Red Dead Redemption 2 soundtrack, which resulted in the track “Unshaken.”
The song ‘Unshaken’ plays during a memorable scene in Red Dead Redemption 2, as Arthur Morgan returns to camp after a key story moment. Its emotional melody perfectly complements the game’s narrative, and it has become the most popular track from the RDR2 soundtrack on streaming platforms.
After the news of his passing, Rockstar Games honored the artist on social media, and many gamers did the same, sharing their memories of hearing his music in Red Dead Redemption 2. Fans have flooded social media with tributes, including numerous comments on different versions of ‘Unshaken’ on YouTube.
