Robert Pattinson Went ‘Crazy for Three Days’ Over a Scene With Zendaya. Then She Told Him ‘There’s No Hidden Meaning’ to the Lines and Just Say Them

In “The Drama,” produced by A24, Robert Pattinson acts alongside Zendaya. Without her assistance, he admits that he might have become excessively preoccupied with one specific scene. In an interview with Premiere (as reported by IndieWire), Pattinson explained that Zendaya helped him regain focus by encouraging him to simply deliver a line and to stop dwelling on the potential deeper implications of their scene.

Pattinson mentioned, ‘A scene we shared left me utterly puzzled.’ I found myself immersed in deciphering its message, scribbling endless pages of analysis. In a late-night phone call prior to filming the scene, I confided my concerns to Zendaya. We chatted for hours, and eventually, she gently clarified that the line was straightforward, with no hidden significance. It turned out I had been driving myself mad for three days over nothing.”

Or more colloquially:

“Pattinson admitted, ‘There was this scene we did together that drove me nuts.’ I spent hours analyzing it, trying to find some deeper meaning. So, before shooting, I called Zendaya and talked her ear off about my doubts. She finally helped me see that the line didn’t need any hidden message – it just said what it meant to say. And here I was, stressing myself out over nothing for days!

The movie titled ‘The Drama’ is being directed by Kristoffer Borgli, who previously worked on ‘Sick of Myself’ and ‘Dream Scenario’. The storyline is currently secretive, but it’s rumored that Robert Pattinson and Zendaya portray a couple whose relationship experiences an unforeseen change prior to their wedding. This production brings Borgli together with A24 again, following the film ‘Dream Scenario’ which featured Nicolas Cage.”

Or, more casually:

“Kristoffer Borgli, known for directing ‘Sick of Myself’ and ‘Dream Scenario’, is working on a new movie called ‘The Drama’. From what we know so far, Robert Pattinson and Zendaya play a couple whose wedding plans take an unexpected twist. This project reunites Borgli with A24 after the Nicolas Cage-starring ‘Dream Scenario’.

Recently, Pattinson has been experiencing bouts of stress on movie sets. In an interview with GQ this month, he revealed that he came close to suffering a mental breakdown while filming a dance scene alongside Jennifer Lawrence for the upcoming psychological drama “Die, My Love,” directed by Lynne Ramsay.

As a movie enthusiast, I had the pleasure of working alongside Lynne Ramsay and Jennifer Lawrence on a film project. Both of them are exceptional dancers, making it seem effortless for them. They’d simply say, “Just dance, let the music guide you,” which left me feeling anxious about a potential breakdown. I proposed we either choreograph the scenes or edit them out, but they insisted, “No, just dance, stop fretting.” On the day of filming, I was drenched in sweat, and my trousers were soaked from within due to the excessive perspiration.

Neither “The Drama” nor “Die, My Love” have release dates yet.
