
Robert Pattinson secretly lent his voice to the film Marty Supreme. Even his biggest fans probably didn’t notice! Director Josh Safdie recently shared that Pattinson voices the announcer at the ping-pong match during the British Open semifinals scene, providing commentary as Timothée Chalamet’s character, Marty, plays against Bela Kletzki. Safdie described it as a hidden Easter egg, explaining he needed a British voice and Pattinson happened to be on set.
Even if Safdie doesn’t actually know any other British people well, this isn’t the first time a famous British actor has appeared in one of his films. Tilda Swinton played a role in Uncut Gems, appearing as the voice of an auction manager speaking with Adam Sandler’s character. However, Safdie and Robert Pattinson have been friends since Pattinson starred in their 2017 film, Good Time. And of all the things they’ve done for each other over the years, Pattinson once gave Safdie a high-tech Japanese toilet – a gift that tops even a quick voice-acting cameo!
