Robert De Niro Shares TV Shows He Watches With His ‘Discerning’ Two-Year-Old Toddler: ‘Ms. Rachel, The Wiggles, Blippi’

Twice Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro begins each day with a chat with “Ms. Rachel.” In an interview with Andy Cohen on Sirius XM’s Radio Andy, De Niro revealed that his two-year-old daughter Gia has a keen eye for television, preferring shows hosted by YouTube personality Ms. Rachel.

In the morning, De Niro shared with Cohen that he had watched “Ms. Rachel”, along with “The Wiggles” and “Blippi”. While “The Wiggles” are relatively inexpensive, De Niro mentioned that they started with “Ms. Rachel” and continue to favor it. De Niro added that his daughter’s (with Tiffany Chen) taste is growing more sophisticated as she watches more of “Ms. Rachel”, indicating a preference for this particular show.

Now, due to her repeated exposure, she’s developing a more critical eye,” De Niro said. “We anticipate fresh episodes, new routines, new tunes: she responds with an ‘Alright, next.’ Sometimes she even says ‘No, no, no. Next.’ She seems eager for me to move on to something different.

After appearing in “Ms. Rachel” and “The Wiggles,” Robert De Niro recently teamed up with director Barry Levinson once more. He took on two roles in the movie, portraying both Vito Genovese and Frank Costello, the mob bosses, in “The Alto Knights.” This crime-focused drama was penned by Nicholas Pileggi, a co-writer of “The Godfather.” Upon its release, it received mixed critical responses and disappointing initial box office earnings, grossing $1.17 million over the weekend and previews.

The crime drama “The Alto Knights” was made at a cost of $45 million, featuring Debra Messing as Bobbie, Costello’s wife, Kathrine Narducci portraying Anna, Genovese’s wife, and Cosmo Jarvis in the cast. This gripping story follows an Italian American mafia figure’s journey from ascendancy to downfall during the mid-20th century, with a focus on Genovese’s attempt to assassinate Costello in 1957.

Levinson found it incredible. He described De Niro’s double performance as truly extraordinary, stating that it felt as if he was working with not one but two distinct actors.
