Rob Schneider Asks Daughter Elle King for Forgiveness After She Slammed His ‘Anti-Gay’ Views and More: ‘I Don’t Take Anything You Say Personally’

As a cinephile who has followed Rob Schneider‘s career from his days on Saturday Night Live to his numerous comedic roles, I must say that this recent turn of events is quite disheartening. Having grown up watching his hilarious performances, it’s sad to see the strained relationship between him and his daughter Elle King.

I’m expressing my sympathy as a fan, acknowledging that Rob Schneider has expressed a desire for forgiveness from his daughter, Elle King, who has been vocal about her criticism following his controversial anti-drag and anti-LGBTQ remarks on Bunnie XO’s “Dumb Blonde” podcast. Elle shared her experiences of a tumultuous upbringing with Schneder and expressed that she currently prefers not to engage with him.

In a recent interview, Schneider expressed to Tucker Carlson, “Being a parent is enjoyable, isn’t it?” In response to King’s comments. He added, “I simply want to tell my daughter Elle that I adore you, and I wish I was the father in my 20s that you required. Unfortunately, I wasn’t. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me for my failures. I love you wholeheartedly and unconditionally.”

“Schneider simply hopes that you’re thriving and joyful, along with your lovely child, Lucky,” he said, adding his well-wishes. “I’m genuinely sorry. Please understand, I don’t let your words affect me on a personal level.”

Later on, Carlson inquired about the strategy he employed to avoid retaliating against his daughter. Schneider responded by saying: “When you have an all-encompassing love…I truly care for her, my sole desire is for her happiness and for her recovery from this ordeal.”

Over the past couple of years, I’ve found myself embroiled in Hollywood controversies due to my growing conservative leanings. During the Olympics last July, I took it upon myself to voice my disapproval on X (previously known as Twitter) about the opening ceremony. I criticized the display that seemed to reenact “The Last Supper” with drag queens, a presentation I found questionable.

In a post, Schneider expressed regret to all the top athletes worldwide, wishing them well, but he cannot endorse an Olympics that disregards Christianity and openly honors Satan. He hopes these Olympics receive the same viewership as C-SPAN (a U.S. public affairs television network).

It’s likely that the queen found fault with this perspective, as she communicated to Bunnie XO that she “takes a different view” on many of Schneider’s points, further stating: “You’re speaking without knowledge and you’re spreading nonsense about drag and, moreover, anti-LGBTQ+ rights. It’s like, reconsider your stance.”

As the conversation continued, it emerged that the King had a distant relationship with her father during her childhood and only developed a connection with him later in life, well into her maturity. There were reportedly disagreements between them earlier because of Schneider’s disapproval of her looks.

“As a child carrying an unusually heavy burden, my father enrolled me in a weight loss camp, hoping for a change. However, one year, I injured my ankle and didn’t shed any pounds, causing a bit of trouble. To appease my dad, who was firmly against tattoos or any form of self-expression, I had to cover up the budding ink on my skin during the scorching 108-degree heat, forcing me to wear sweaters.”

King made it clear that she has no intention of rebuilding her connection with Schneider, expressing that she prefers not to have any ties with him as he simply isn’t a pleasant person.
