Under the production of Sony Pictures Classics, the latest movie by Oscar-nominated director Linklater follows Ethan Hawke’s character, Hart, during his last days. This character was a member of the songwriting duo Rodgers and Hart, marking their opening night performance of “Oklahoma!” in 1943.

The movie, titled “Me and Orson Welles,” is penned by Robert Kaplow, who also wrote the novel of the same name. The star-studded cast includes Margaret Qualley from “The Substance,” Andrew Scott known for “Ripley,” and Bobby Cannavale best recognized in “The Irishman.” Linklater, alongside Mike Blizzard and John Sloss, served as producers on this film.

The film titled “Blue Moon” was first shown at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival. There, it generally received favorable feedback and earned Silver Bear recognition for Scott’s remarkable supporting role.
