In the latest update, Version 2.1 of “Wuthering Waves”, a fresh region named Riccioli Islands has been added as part of the Rinascita expansion. This new territory offers an abundance of fresh content for gamers to delve into, featuring novel treasures and obstacles. Additionally, four distinct Musicflies can be discovered on these islands. As players gather Musicflies, they receive Melody Boxes as a reward. These boxes can then be exchanged with Aria Mummer for new in-game music. Aria Mummer is conveniently located in Ragunna City’s Central Square and at the Port of Riccioli within the Riccioli Islands. At any time, players can interact with Aria Mummer to modify the game’s background music.

To get to the Riccioli Islands, gamers should initiate the ongoing quest “Set Sail! Pro Angler!” which can be located on the events section. This quest will guide players to converse with Ishmael at Ragunna City’s docks, resulting in a direct teleportation to the Riccioli Islands. It is not essential to complete the “Old Man and the Whale” event to gather all Musicflies, although it can be useful in navigating players to all the vital locations. Here are the four Musicfly locations on the Riccioli Islands in “Wuthering Waves” along with the Melody Boxes they offer as rewards.

Riccioli Islands Musicfly Locations

Location #1

The initial Musicfly resides on a tiny island situated off the western coast of Drake’s Island. You can get to Drake’s Island from Riccioli Port by employing your Flight feature or by hopping aboard Rachel, the Gondola presented during the “The Old Man and the Whale” event, and then proceeding towards the southwest. Upon reaching the small island, you’ll spot the Musicfly flitting around the west-side beach, making it a breeze to catch. Capturing this Musicfly will earn you the Melody Box known as “Sincerity Beneath the Mask”.

Location #2

As a gamer, I found the second Musicfly nestled in Helm Village, an island north of Port Riccioli. To locate it, simply follow the trail that leads to the lighthouse from the eastern side, and you’ll spot the Musicfly fluttering near the bridge before you cross it. If you’re short on time, use your Flight tool to zip up the hill once you reach Helm Village. This elusive Musicfly will gift you the Melody Box, “Serenade Carried by the Waves”.

The next Musicfly is found at Serene Bay, which lies to the west of Helm Village. Players can get there by employing either the Flight tool or the Gondola. In Serene Bay, you’ll spot the Musicfly hovering above the southern slope of the northernmost landmass. To swiftly ascend to the hilltop, players can utilize the Cuddle Wuddle Plushie Leap spots near the dock in Serene Bay. This particular Musicfly rewards players with a Homebound Honor Melody Box.

The next Musicfly is found at a place called Serene Bay, which is located to the west of Helm Village. You can get there using either the Flight tool or the Gondola. In Serene Bay, you’ll see the Musicfly flying around the southern side of the northernmost piece of land. To quickly go up to the hilltop, use the Cuddle Wuddle Plushie Leap spots near the dock in Serene Bay. This Musicfly gives players a special item called a Homebound Honor Melody Box as a reward.

Location #4

The sole surviving Musicfly in the Riccioli Islands resides on a minuscule island situated to the west of Reyes Ruins. Although access to Reyes Ruins is restricted during the “Old Man and the Whale” event, you can still reach this small island without triggering that event. To get there, players should board the Gondola and travel north from Serene Bay until they arrive safely at the island. The Musicfly is typically seen darting about under a damaged structure on the southeastern part of the island. Capturing it grants you the “A Journey Concluded in the Tides” Melody Box as a reward.
