Over the past summer, Kenya Moore parted ways with the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, as reported by both herself and Bravo. TMZ disclosed an incident where Moore had posted an explicit image of Brittany Eady without her permission. It’s important to note that this occurred during a gathering where Eady was not present. Initially, Moore dismissed these allegations as “fake news.” However, it was claimed that Moore shared the private photos as retaliation for an alleged threatening incident involving a gun by Eady. Bravo disputed these accusations in their statement to People. Subsequently, on June 25th, Bravo officially announced an indefinite suspension of Moore from the series. How did it play out on RHOA?
During the April 6 episode of RHOA, Eady arrived at Moore’s salon opening with flowers and an apology note. However, Moore chose to disregard both the gift and the apology. Addressing the crowd, Moore asked for their attention before expressing her frustration about people trying to undermine her without cause. She went on to say that she was tired of it and found Eady’s actions insincere. After this, Eady left the party. Moore continued speaking to the crowd, stating that she dislikes falsehoods and doesn’t want deceitful women around her. Kelli Ferrell attempted to keep the card but Moore demanded it be destroyed. “I looked into it,” Moore stated, “and I found out who this woman is.” She then displayed a series of posters with Eady’s picture on them, pointing out various alleged cosmetic procedures she had undergone. Moore then revealed another poster, stating, “See that? She used to be a video vixen.
At that point, Ferrell and other attendees departed from the gathering. Moore unveiled another graphic poster, exclaiming, “Look! This is truly disturbing!” The crew then halted the recording, explaining they wouldn’t display such intense images. More ladies voiced their concerns, stating it was excessive and crossed the line with the explicit photos. Moore stood her ground, claiming Eady had brandished a gun as a threat against her. As more cast members departed, they grew increasingly dismayed by Moore’s behavior. “We’re prepared to wrap up now,” Porsha Williams declared, expressing her reluctance to continue filming.
