As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I must say that the announcement of the Reynatis demo has piqued my interest. Having grown up playing a variety of JRPGs and action RPGs, I’m always on the lookout for fresh titles that offer unique gameplay mechanics, compelling characters, and engaging storylines. The dual perspectives in Reynatis, combined with its setting in Shibuya, remind me of Square Enix’s Stranger of Sword City, which was a hidden gem in the genre.
It’s been made known by NIS America that you can now try out the demonstration version of “Reynatis” on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, or your personal computer.
For those purchasing Reynatis, there will be a reward not explicitly defined, dependent on the progress made in the demo version of the game. However, it’s important to note that this reward is not offered if the demo remains unfinished. NIS America clarifies this point.
A demo trailer and description can be found below.
Reynatis is scheduled to debut in North America and Europe on September 27th, available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. To learn more about this game, you can watch the release date trailer or the crossover trailer featuring NEO: The World Ends With You. Following its launch, players can expect nine free updates to be released.
NIS America, Inc. happily shares that a demo for their forthcoming action role-playing game, Reynatis, has been released! You can play it now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, or Steam. The full game will be launched on September 27.
In the complete version of the game, go to the main menu and select “DEMO VERSION BONUS”. Use your demo save file to claim the bonuses. The bonuses you receive depend on how far you progressed in the demo (you can’t get bonuses from an unfinished demo). Important note: your progress in the demo won’t transfer over to the full game.
From today onwards, gamers will be able to explore the dual viewpoints of REynatis’ characters, Marin Kirizumi and Sari Nishijima, as they delve into the initial stages of play.
Marin Kirizumi
18-year-old Marin is a college student who happens to be a wizard. At age 14, after a near-fatal car accident, he discovered his magical abilities. Growing up under oppressive circumstances because of his wizardry, Marin yearns for freedom and seeks to prove himself as the invincible wizard by defeating all others. To achieve this goal, he embarks on a journey to Shibuya, guided by clues left behind by his father.
Sari Nishijima
Once a police officer, she encountered a horrific incident in Shibuya during the spring of 2021 where she was viciously attacked by a monster. On the brink of death, she miraculously transformed into a replica and joined the M.E.A., specifically its Magic Task Force. Despite others trying to leverage her image for recruitment purposes, she firmly refuses this position.
