Resident Evil Requiem mod transforms Grace into Umamusume’s Mihono Bourbon

You won’t find a stranger team-up than this: the universes of Resident Evil Requiem and Umamasume have unexpectedly crossed over, and it’s likely to be the weirdest thing you see for a while!

A creative fan has combined the worlds of survival horror and horse racing on Nexus Mods, resulting in a truly unique modification for Capcom’s popular sequel.

So, I found this mod that dropped on March 3rd, and honestly, the description is straight to the point. It basically swaps Grace out for Mihono Bourbon. Simple as that!

How to install the Mihono Bourbon mod

Want to add some extra fun to your Resident Evil Requiem game, whether you’re playing for the second or third time (or even the first if you’re not focused on total immersion)? Here’s how to install the mod.

  1. Download and install the Fluffy Mod Manager and REFramework tools through Nexus Mods.
  2. Download the Mihono mod.
  3. Unzip the mod files and place “MihonoBourbonModel” and “MihonoBourbonTexture” into “modmanager\Games\RE9\Mods” and enable both in Fluffy Mod Manager.
The mod replaces the main character, Grace Ashcroft, with Umamusume’s Mihono Bourbon in cutscenes and gameplay.

Before you jump in and start playing with this new mod, keep in mind that, like all player-made content, it might cause unexpected issues or glitches in the game.

Some users are reporting issues with the new skin, but the creator believes updating the necessary REFRamework mod will fix problems like endless loading screens or missing textures.

Given how many funny and unusual mods came out for Resident Evil 2 Remake when it was first popular, we can expect even more creative and silly ones to appear in the coming weeks.
