Resident Evil Requiem Already Has Over 1 Million Wishlists

To begin with this current month, there was no knowledge about Resident Evil Requiem among us. However, as of now, a significant number of over one million gamers on Steam and PlayStation 5 have added this survival-horror game to their wishlists, as reported by Capcom.

At Summer Game Fest in June, the authentic Resident Evil account announced that Resident Evil Requiem has reached a significant milestone. Currently, you can only add it to your wishlist on Steam and the PlayStation Store. However, don’t worry if you’re an Xbox user, as Resident Evil Requiem is set to release on February 27, 2026, exclusively for Xbox Series X|S. Rest assured, it will also be available on PC and PS5 at the same time.

In simple terms, “Resident Evil Requiem” will be the ninth primary installment in the popular series. This new game brings the series back to Raccoon City, where FBI technical analyst Grace Ashcroft is sent to examine a mysterious death at an old hotel. It’s worth noting that Grace is the daughter of Alyssa Ashcroft from “Resident Evil Outbreak.

As a thrilled fan, I’m excited to share that Capcom has announced that Resident Evil Requiem will provide a unique gaming experience with the option to switch between first- and third-person camera angles. This versatile approach caters to both longtime fans of the series and newcomers to the Resident Evil franchise, as it was previously only Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Resident Evil Village that were exclusively first-person games.
