These details could potentially signal a major transformation within the series.

Based on leaks, it appears that in Resident Evil Requiem, we may begin playing in a first-person perspective, much like in Resident Evil 7 and Village. However, later on, the game will transition to the conventional third-person view. Notably, players will have the freedom to switch between these two camera modes, similar to the Winters’ Expansion for the eighth installment.
