REPO has quickly become very popular since it launched on February 26th. It reached over 145,000 players playing at the same time in under two weeks! Now, with the recent Monster update released on October 30th, REPO is even more expansive, especially when it comes to the variety of enemies you’ll encounter.
This cooperative horror game challenges you to collect valuable items from creepy locations and return them to base. Once you’ve gathered enough, you can advance – but beware, terrifying monsters are always lurking and will keep you on edge!

Gnome
- Danger level: 1
- HP: 20
- Attack: 10
Gnomes often travel in groups and will attack your team together. When they aren’t attacking, they’ll run around trying to damage important objects. It’s best to avoid them when you can, but you can also pick them up and forcefully throw them against something hard to destroy them.

Spewer
- Danger level: 1
- HP: 65
- Attack: 10
The Spewer is dangerous because it spits acid, but its real threat is that it can attach itself to your face. If it does, you’ll uncontrollably vomit everything and everyone nearby. The best way to avoid this is to dodge its attacks, but you can also try grabbing and slamming it into something solid to hurt it – though this might take two people depending on your strength.

Bella
- Danger level: 1
- HP: 200
- Attack: 5
Few sounds are scarier than a tricycle when you’re by yourself in the dark. Bella is a ghost who rides around on a bike, and they’ll generally leave you alone if you don’t try to interact with them. If you start hearing a bell ringing, it means you’re too close for comfort.

Tick
- Danger level: 1
- HP: 10, although it drains HP
- Attack: 10
Okay, so The Tick can be a bit confusing because it sounds like the Spewer, but here’s the deal: if one of these guys gets on your face, it’ll slowly take your health. Thankfully, it can only drain up to 100 HP, so if you’re above that, you’re safe! Honestly, the best strategy is just to avoid them completely if you see one coming.

Apex Predator
- Danger level: 1
- HP: 150
- Attack: 10
The cute little Apex Predator will happily follow you and your team as you collect items. Don’t let the cuteness fool you, though – it’s best to avoid it completely! If it touches you, it will become hostile and start attacking with surprising speed.

Peeper
- Danger level: 1
- HP: 30
- Attack: 2 per hit, although it’s continuous
If a Peeper sees you, it will relentlessly chase and attack you. To escape, you need to break its line of sight by hiding behind something – anything that blocks your view of it. It’s always a good idea to quickly scan the ceiling of a room before you enter.

Shadow Child
- Danger level: 1
- HP: 150
- Attack: 30
Okay, so the Shadow Child in REPO is seriously terrifying! Luckily, there’s a pretty simple way to avoid it – just don’t look directly at it. If you do, it’ll pull you, which really hurts and honestly, gives you the creeps. It’s a lifesaver, though, because looking away is all it takes to stay safe!

Birthday Boy
- Danger level: 1
- HP: 150
- Attack: 10
Okay, so the biggest tip I’ve learned for finding the Birthday Boy is to just look for balloons! But seriously, don’t pop them. If you do, he’ll show up and come right at you. Also, when you’re checking rooms, be extra careful, especially if you’re carrying a lot of stuff – it can block your view and make it harder to spot him!

Elsa
- Danger level: 1
- HP: 600
- Attack: 15
Elsa is an adorable puppy who loves attention and will eagerly ask for pets. If you ignore her for too long, though, she’ll surprisingly transform into a much stronger, aggressive version of herself and attack. To avoid this, it’s best to spend a little time petting Elsa until she wanders off and starts exploring the room again.

Mentalist
- Danger level: 2
- HP: 150
- Attack: 50
The Mentalist behaves unlike any other creature, and this is especially noticeable in how it attacks. When it spots you, it creates a sort of gravity field that will lightly stun you. As the field turns red, it will violently slam you into the ground. If you have a teammate nearby, the safest thing to do is have them pull you out of the field. It’s difficult to defeat the Mentalist without weapons, so avoiding the gravity field altogether is your best bet.

Bowtie
- Danger level: 2
- HP: 200
- Attack: 5
Okay, so the Bowtie looks kinda cool from far away, but trust me, you need to be careful if one spots you! They’ll actually try to blow you into walls or other hard stuff – it’s not a direct attack, but it will hurt. Honestly, you’re probably going to need some good weapons to take one down, unless you’ve been seriously leveling up your strength. It’s a tough fight!

Headgrab
- Danger level: 2
- HP: 150
- Attack: 5 to 15, depending on the attack
Headgrabs are dangerous enemies that attack with both claws and powerful kicks. Uniquely, they’ll also pick up the heads of defeated allies and wear them, making themselves faster. If a Headgrab is wearing a head, try to remove it – this will briefly stun it, creating an opening for you to strike back with any weapons you have.

Oogly
- Danger level: 2
- HP: 200
- Attack: 4 as base
The Oogly is a flying enemy, and like many flying enemies in video games, it can be really frustrating to deal with. In REPO, if an Oogly sees you, it will try to grab you and damage you while you’re in the air. Your best bet is to either hide under something or just run away.

Heart Hugger
- Danger level: 2
- HP: 300
- Attack: 30 as base
Okay, so the Heart Hugger is kinda like the Peeper – as soon as it sees me, it tries to pull me in. It does this with a big cloud of pink spores, and let me tell you, getting caught in that cloud is bad. It hits you with a bunch of quick damage, and it can seriously take you down fast. I try to dodge those spores at all costs, but if I get stuck, I’m hoping my teammates are quick enough to pull me to safety!

Gambit
- Danger level: 2
- HP: 150
- Attack: Has different effects depending on color
If a Gambit enemy sees you, it will attempt to capture you. If caught, you’ll spin a wheel that determines your fate. The wheel has various effects: green heals you, red damages you, white fully restores your health, and black lowers your health to just 1 HP. While you won’t die, it’s going to be a rough experience! Landing on yellow gives you money. You can try using weapons to stop the wheel from spinning, or risk it and see what happens.

Banger
- Danger level: 2
- HP: 50
- Attack: Depends on the attack
Skulls are common in REPO, but the Banger monster stands out. These enemies come in groups of three, and they’ll explode when they spot you. You’ll have about 15 seconds before they detonate, which might not be enough time to escape. Your best bet is to either run away quickly or throw them a good distance. Look for large objects you can use as barriers – those are ideal places to toss them.

Chef
- Danger level: 2
- HP: 150
- Attack: 10
This frog may look harmless, but it’s surprisingly dangerous and will attack with its knives if it sees you. Although it’s a fearsome enemy, the Chef always pauses to charge up before attacking, giving you a short window to react. Use this time to try and escape by using your surroundings. If there are any pits or traps nearby, you can even lure the monster into them.

Rugrat
- Danger level: 2
- HP: 150
- Attack: Around 10 to 225
The Rugrat is a real troublemaker. If it sees you, it will quickly grab the nearest valuable object and throw it at you. To avoid getting hit, you can either run away to get out of throwing range, or quickly collect all the nearby valuables before it does.

Animal
- Danger level: 2
- HP: 150
- Attack: 2
The Animal is a challenging monster to fight. When it spots you, it will relentlessly chase you, but instead of grabbing you, it rams directly into you. It then tends to run around randomly, making it difficult to manage. You’ll need help from at least one other person to restrain it and throw it against a hard surface, because it easily breaks free.

Upscream
- Danger level: 2
- HP: 50
- Attack: 10
Okay, so these things, the Upscream, are really annoying. Basically, they just scream at you – and it’s not a little yell, it’s a super powerful scream that actually sends you flying backwards! Seriously, if you see one, your best bet is to just avoid it. Either get up high where they can’t reach you, or just turn around and run as fast as you can, especially if you don’t have anything to fight with. Trust me on this one – you don’t want to be on the receiving end of their scream!

Hidden
- Danger level: 2
- HP: 100
- Attack: None
There’s an invisible monster lurking in REPO. You can detect it by listening for footsteps and watching for its breath on the walls. If it finds you, the Hidden monster will try to drag you around the map. To defeat it, you’ll need a weapon or a lot of strength. If you see it first, quickly crouch under something to hide and avoid being detected.

Headman
- Danger level: 3
- HP: 250
- Attack: 50
Okay, so the Headman is seriously creepy – it’s basically a floating head that just wanders around looking for someone to chase! If it sees you, it will come after you, trying to bite. The best thing to do is break line of sight – lose it somehow. And if it starts chasing a teammate? That’s my cue to run! But you should definitely go back and help them out after, you know, when you’re safe.

Clown
- Danger level: 3
- HP: 250
- Attack: 60 to 100, depending on the attack
The Clown is a particularly dangerous enemy. It can fire a laser from a rod on its forehead, or deliver a powerful kick that will send you crashing into obstacles. If you see a Clown, your best bet is to run away immediately – avoid getting hit by its laser in the first place.

Cleanup Crew
- Danger level: 3
- HP: 350
- Attack: 60 to 100, depending on the attack
The Cleanup Crew sounds cool, but it’s actually a dangerous enemy. It can detach its head and make it explode! You can try to grab the head and throw it away to safety, but if you can’t, the monster isn’t very fast, so you should be able to run away.

Trudge
- Danger level: 3
- HP: 500
- Attack: 35 to 100, depending on the attack
The Trudge is a powerful enemy with a weapon built into its arm. You can’t hide under objects to avoid it, because it will attack with a skull on one of its tentacles. Luckily, its heavy armor makes it slow, so you can usually escape if you create enough space.

Robe
- Danger level: 3
- HP: 250
- Attack: 50 to 100, depending on whether they’re crouched or standing
Okay, so The Robe is seriously good at sneaking up on you in REPO – that screenshot proves it! I’ve learned the hard way that if you see one, just run. Don’t make eye contact, because that somehow makes them even faster and harder to escape. Unless you’re super strong or have a weapon, your best bet is always to just turn tail and get out of there!

Huntsman
- Danger level: 3
- HP: 250
- Attack: 100
Huntsmen are blind and rely on sound to find players. Treat encounters with them like a stealth game: crouch whenever you can and don’t run nearby. If you’re playing with others, warn them about the Huntsman’s presence so everyone can stay quiet.

Reaper
- Danger level: 3
- HP: 250
- Attack: 10
The Reaper is blind, so it finds its targets by sight. If it sees you, it will quickly begin attacking with powerful swings. If you’re spotted, your best bet is to quickly dig a tunnel using any slideable objects to get to the other side and escape.

Loom
- Danger level: 3
- HP: 500
- Attack: 100
The Loom is a particularly scary monster added in the recent update. If you notice floating hands appearing on the sides of your screen, it means a Loom is hunting you. It will then begin a slow pursuit. If you’re familiar with the movie It Follows, you’ll understand the strategy – you need to keep running until you’re safe. However, there’s always a chance it will start chasing you again. If it catches you, it will trap you between its clapping hands.
Those are all the monsters available in REPO thus far. Best of luck meeting your quota!
