Red Dead Redemption 2 Modder Creates Supersonic Horses, Is Killed Almost Constantly By Pony Soprano

As an avid gamer with years of experience under my belt, I must confess that Red Dead Redemption 2 has been a rollercoaster ride of emotions and gameplay. The open-world, the characters, the storyline – all masterfully crafted to immerse us in the wild west. However, it seems that some modders have taken their creative freedom a tad too far!

In the free-roaming landscape of Red Dead Redemption 2, actions have consequences, but one modder became so engrossed in speeding up horses and carriages beyond normal limits that they seemed to overlook potential repercussions. It appears this modification has resulted in some violent equine behavior, making it impossible to feel secure, no matter where you are in the game. This mod definitely knows how to cause a ruckus!

According to BlurbsTV, they’ve transformed Red Dead Redemption 2 into a chilling, Hitchcock-worthy horror experience.

On a secluded piece of land, do you think you can go about your own affairs without interference? That’s mistaken; you’ll soon find a horse coming at you. Strolling down a tranquil street? Brace yourself for an unwelcome encounter with the pavement when you’re hit by a vehicle. Basking in the beauty of a sunset while camping on a mountain? Be aware, we say “neigh” to your peace and quiet.

In related news, Red Dead Redemption finally made its way to PC last month. This version includes both the base game and its Undead Nightmare expansion, as well as several graphical upgrades for its PC release. Developer Rockstar Games is also working on Grand Theft Auto 6 and the game is still on track for a Fall 2025 release on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

If you’re considering making the vehicles in the game go extremely quickly, remember that Grand Theft Auto 6 hasn’t been confirmed for a PC release just yet. Since Rockstar Games is currently focusing on console versions first, it might take some time before we can make such changes.
