Red Art Games announces Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song Remastered International boxed release, including new FIGS language options

As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the screenshots from Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song Remastered have piqued my interest like never before. The intricate details and vivid colors bring each scene to life, transporting me back to the days when I first started my journey in the realm of RPGs.

Square Enix and Red Art Games have unveiled a fresh rendition titled “Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song Remastered International“. This updated version from the 2022 remaster will be accessible for purchase both physically and digitally on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch in the first quarter of next year.

Originally launched on PlayStation 2 in 2005 as a revamped version of the classic Super Famicom game, Romancing SaGa Minstrel Song, this game has been significantly enhanced with modern features and fresh content in its 2022 remaster, which I find myself greatly enjoying.

For the fresh international edition, you can own it physically or digitally, marking a first in the series as it offers subtitles in French, Italian, German, and Spanish (FIGS) for those who prefer these languages. Regarding its content, it remains unchanged from previous versions.

As a gaming enthusiast, I gotta say, this isn’t just an upgrade, it’s a brand new take on Minstrel Song. If you’re hankering to try out the game with the fresh FIGS language options, you’ll need to grab the International Version – sorry, folks, the existing one won’t be getting any updates in that regard. On a bummer note, there’s no word yet on when the International Version will hit PC, but the original remaster is already up on Steam if you can’t wait!

Today, Square Enix together with Red Art Games unveiled “Romancing SaGa -Minstrel Song- Remastered International”, a remastered version of the fourth installment from the cherished SaGa series. Originally launched in 2022, this game will be made available physically and digitally on PlayStation 5 (PS5), PlayStation 4 (PS4), and Nintendo Switch in Western regions at the start of next year.
As a long-time fan of the Romancing SaGa series, I am absolutely thrilled to hear that the upcoming remastered version of “Romancing SaGa – Minstrel Song” will be localized into French, German, Italian, and Spanish. Growing up in a multilingual household, I’ve always appreciated games with diverse language options, as it allows me to immerse myself even deeper into the world of my favorite titles. This expansion beyond English and Japanese is truly exciting news for me, as it opens up the game to a wider audience and allows players from different parts of the globe to enjoy this classic RPG.
